Items
Your catalog of products for checkout and the online store.
Your Catalog
Open a card for the item's details, or use its menu to edit it or adjust stock. Items running low show how many are left.
The Item Page
Open an item to see everything about it in one place: photo, name and SKU, whether it is inactive, its category, the price (per unit for items sold by weight or length), description, cost, total stock and the low-stock level, and a scannable barcode label when you turned on Show barcode. For items that track stock, Stock by location lists each location the item is available at, with zero shown as out of stock and low quantities highlighted. The back arrow returns to where you came from, including checkout. Edit opens the form and returns here; the red button deletes the item after you confirm.
Add an Item
Choose Add Item. Only the starred fields, a name and price, are required; you can fill in the rest later. Cost feeds profit reports, SKU makes items easier to find, and a category keeps checkout tidy. Have a spreadsheet? Import it instead.
Stock, Locations and Tax
Stock tracking
Turn it on for physical products, enter the quantity and pick when to warn about low stock. Leave it off for anything you never count.
Locations
Sell everywhere or only at chosen locations, each with its own stock count.
Tax
New items use your default tax rate; change it per item for exempt or reduced-rate products.
Barcodes
Scan or type an item's barcode into Barcode. At checkout, use barcode entry or camera scanning to add the item, even when the scanner adds or drops leading zeros. Once a barcode is set, turn on Show barcode to display it as a scannable label on the item page and in checkout. Barcode, UPC, EAN, GTIN and Clover Product Code columns fill it during a bulk import.
Offer at Events
Once Events is on, workspace owners see Offer on event requests when adding or editing an item. Turn it on and save to let customers choose the item on your event request form. The form never shows its price, so you can quote it for each event. The switch edits the same list as the Offer stage in Event Settings, which holds up to 60 services and items in total.
Items and Services
Items are things customers buy. Time customers book with your team, such as a haircut, is a service in Appointments.
