Team
Invite coworkers, choose where they work and when, and give each person only the access they need.
Availability and break times use the workspace timezone and clock format. Switching between 12-hour and 24-hour display does not change anyone’s saved hours.
Members
Team lists active members and pending invitations. A team holds up to five people, counting pending invitations. Select a member to open their profile and schedule. The owner cannot be removed; removing anyone else asks for confirmation first.
Invite a Member
Choose Invite Member and enter their name and email. Someone who already has a pointup account is added straight away; everyone else gets an invitation you can cancel until it is accepted.
Pending Invitations
Invitations that have not been accepted sit under the members with the invitee's name, email, role and when the invitation expires. Cancel one to withdraw it; it still counts toward the five-person limit until it is accepted or cancelled.
Accept an Invitation
The invitation email opens a page that names the business, who invited them and the role. What happens next depends on who is looking: someone signed out is asked to sign in or create a profile with the invited email, someone signed in with a different account is offered to sign out and switch, and the invited person can accept or decline. A new teammate then finishes a short profile before landing in the dashboard. Invitations that were already accepted, expired or are invalid say so and point to sign-in.
A Member’s Profile
Select a member to open their profile: photo, name, email, role and permission template, with a shortcut to manage their permissions. The page has three tabs: Overview (when they joined and their location access), Responsibilities and Availability.
Location Access
Use the pin button on a member to let them work at every location or only chosen ones. This limits which data and appointment schedules they can see.
Schedules and Roles
On a member's page, set their weekly working days, hours and breaks. Add a location-specific schedule when their hours differ between locations. An appointment role, such as barber or therapist, tells customers who they are booking.
Tip: Working hours, location access and the services a member performs together decide which booking times are offered.
Appointment Role
On the Responsibilities tab, give a member an appointment role such as barber or therapist. It defines what this person does in appointment bookings and tells customers who they are booking.
Permissions
Permissions lists everyone with a one-line summary of their access: owners have full access, a member on a template shows that template's description, a custom setup shows how many permissions are on, and anyone else has the defaults. Select a member to edit. Only the owner can change permissions, and owners always keep full access.
Permission Templates
Start a member from Full Access, Manager, Cashier or Viewer, or from a template you saved yourself; choosing one selects its permissions. Choose Save to apply. A template you created can be deleted from its card; deleting the selected one switches the editor to custom permissions.
Custom Permissions
Below the templates, permissions are grouped by area, such as checkout, items, customers and appointments. Switch individual permissions on or off, or use the checkbox on a group to select all or none; each group counts how many are on. Changing any permission moves the member to Custom. When you have a combination worth reusing, choose Save as Template, name it, and it appears beside the built-in templates.
Location Scope
The same page sets where a member can work: all locations or only the ones you tick. It saves separately from permissions, with its own button. This is the same setting as the pin button on Team.
